I don't think this story is a hack job. As someone who has used public transit for the past 15 years, I have seen more than my fair share of rude drivers. It simply boils down to people of power/authority abusing their power/authority. Just like in the article, I've seen drivers refuse to deploy the lift because the customer didn't ask nice enough. I've seen drivers yell at passengers for asking questions. I know this is a situation of a few bad apples, but that's no excuse.
Hello everyone and welcome to my Transit Blog. I have been a bus driver since 2000. I worked for Waukesha Metro Transit in Waukesha, Wisconsin from 2000 to 2008. I moved to the Twin Cities with my family in March of 2008. I now work for Metro Transit in Twin Cities. I first started taking pictures and video in the fall of 2007.
I will post my transit related photos and video here. I will also post transit related news. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
